About the True Nature Coast

Old Florida is just 70 miles from Tampa/St Pete

Seven Sisters Spring on the Chassahowitzka River is one of the most beautiful and unspoiled places anywhere. Millions of years of rushing water have carved the limestone bed rock into the dramatic springs of Central Florida. Blue skies, blue waters, leafy green trees, leaping fish, abundant wildlife, and golden sunshine – you’ll turn back the hands of time when you get the Old Florida feeling on the True Nature Coast.

What an awesome experience. I stayed in one of their cabins. It was so nice! Very quiet and peaceful. Camp ground managers were so helpful and friendly. So easy to launch in the river with access to all the cool springs.

Favorite – Old fish camp feel, low key versus the mega RV resort feel. Proximity to a myriad of things to do on the water and around Homosassa Springs. Smoking fast WiFi at our site.

Fantastic day Saturday, kayaking Seven Sisters, definitely a lot of manatees, went to the Florida Crack at low tide but was fun, lots of kayakers, boat parties…fun, fun, fun.

Everything about this campground is 5 Star. They have private air conditioned bathrooms for men and women. They allow pets. And the campground has its own boat ramp and dock to launch from to paddle over to the springs. The manager is awesome as well and takes very good care of his guests. I highly recommend this campground for the Florida Springs and True Nature Coast camping experience.
